This picture reminds me that many Girl Scouts in 1960 were part of troops at their school or church and so they seem segregated. Even in 1976 when I was promoting a statewide Girl Scout event, only troops from military communities reflected diversity. In 1960, I was a member of a Girl Scout Troop at 1st Presbyterian in Germantown.
