Annual Reports of the Parish Association/Parochial Committee of the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rittenhouse Square (1863-1883,1886-1889)
Published between 1863 and 1889, the Annual Report of the Parish Association/Parochial Committee of the Church of the Holy Trinity is a wonderful document that chronicles the development of the parish (including its chapels) as well as the parish’s role in wider Episcopal circles. Save for three volumes that are from my personal collection, these items were scanned from CHT’s archival collection. In 1890, the parish began to publish an impressive parish yearbook. Each volume runs between 80 and 200 pages – illustrated and jam-packed with statistics, committee reports, and lists covering all aspects of parish life. Likely due to the cost, the parish ceased publishing the parish yearbook in 1932 (soon after the death of Rev. Floyd Tomkins). The yearbooks are bound in a way that does not lend themselves to be scanned. Only these annual reports have been digitized and can be accessed here.
