Reports and Financial Statements Rendered at the Annual Parish Meeting of St. Stephen’s Church, Philadelphia (1937-1952)
Reports and Financial Statements Rendered at the Annual Parish Meeting of St. Stephen’s Church, Philadelphia was first published in 1937 at the start of Rev. Vincent C. Frank’s rectorship and continued until his departure in 1939. Rev. Alfred W. Price resumed the publication of Reports and Financial Statements in 1942 and the publication ceases in 1953. I actually don’t know if the publication ceases in 1953, however the 1952-1953 volume is the last I found in the archives of St. Stephen’s Church. Between 1942 and 1952 Reports and Financial Statements contains the parish’s membership roll with addresses. This is a great historical resource since it shows St. Stephen’s as a metropolitan parish rather than a neighborhood parish. This would true of the other Center City parishes in this period.
